Try either the Isuzu website or Vauxhall Motors website same vehicle as the Vauxhall Monteray why should any publisher allow you to download a copy of a workshop manual which they took hours to compile. is my take on this what gives you the right to have it for free when every body else has to pay for it. the simple answer is no you should pay for it so they can earn a living just like anyone else in this world . i bet you would get upset if some one stole something of yours or something you put hours of work into and just walked off with it. i bet you would start jumping up and down and shout about it. so how do you think they feel. you have to pay for the spares so why not the manual. i live just a couple of miles from Haynes motor museum and publishing these guys put a lot of effort into producing these manuals to save time for those wanting to do there own repairs so why should you be any different to the rest of us.. Pay for the manual, don't be so tight. Auto parts : Tachometer Bracket Acura 1995 . Tachometer Driver Fitting Alfa Romeo 1996 . Tachometer Driver Lock Plate Audi 1997 . Scion . How to Replace the Window Regulator in a 2000 Pontiac BonnevilleA malfunctioning window regulator in your Pontiac Bonneville can be a danger more that a nuisance, as it can crack or outright break the window glass if you don't replace it promptly. While older models of the Bonneville have the regulator riveted in place, the 2000 model uses bolts, making removal and replacement slightly easier. You still need to remove the door's inner trim panel in order to access the regulator, as is the case with any vehicle. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Wrench Hooked tool Screwdriver Trim sticks Window regulatorRemoval Step by Step : 1 Disconnect the car's negative battery cable if the car is equipped with power windows. Make sure the window glass is completely rolled up before doing this or proceeding with a manual window model. 2 Disconnect the window crank from the door inner panel if the car has manual windows: Press on the panel to expose the handle's clip and disconnect the clip with a small, hooked tool. 3 Pry out all control panels, reflectors and smaller trim panels from the inner trim panel using a flat trim stick. Disconnect the electrical connectors for any devices you pry up like the power window controls. 4 Unscrew and remove the door's handle cover using a screwdriver, then pry along the edge of the panel with a flat screwdriver or large trim stick. Remove the panel and then peel off the plastic watershield behind it. 5 Tape the window glass to the door's window frame. 6 Loosen the bolts connecting the regulator to the glass by making about three to four turns with your wrench, then lower the regulator about 3/4 of the way down to separate it from the glass. 7 Disconnect the window motor's electrical connector if needed, then remove the regulator's bolts with your wrench and remove the regulator. Installation Step by Step : 1 Install the new regulator into the window with its bolts. Connect the motor connector if needed, slide the regulator up to the glass and bolt the glass to the regulator. 2 Press the watershield back into place, reconnect the trim panel using its clips and reconnect the door handle cover with its screws. Reconnect the electrical connectors and the small trim panels. 3 Reinstall the window crank to the car if needed using its clip. 4 Remove the tape from the glass. 5 Reconnect the battery cable.
Scion . How to Lubricate Car WindowsProblems with your automobile windows such as squeaking or becoming jammed or stuck typically are caused because of worn out tracks and rollers. That wear and tear usually happens because the lubricant wears off after a period of time. Regular lubrication of the working parts of your car windows and hinges can help keep the tracks and rollers in good working order. Lubricating the windows in your car is a simple process and can be performed at home. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need White lithium grease Phillips and slot screwdriver Protective gloves Flathead screwdriver Socket set and wrench Clean rags Step by Step : 1 Put on gloves before beginning the project. Disconnect the negative cable from car's battery terminal to stop its electrical circuit. 2 Loosen the screws of the armrest using a Phillips screwdriver. If the car armrest has been fitted with plastic access caps, remove them using a slot screwdriver. And if the armrest has a built-in window control, remove the top screws of the unit, pull it out, and disconnect the electrical jack. 3 Loosen the door panel bolts using a socket wrench. Remove the screws -- or the mounting bolt -- of the plastic panel on the door handle. 4 Remove the car door panel by placing a flathead screwdriver between the edge of the door panel and the frame of the car door. Gently push against the screwdriver to release the spring clips on the door panel. Pull the door panel away from the frame of the car door. 5 Peel off the plastic insulator cover inside the door panel, pulling it down from the top and both sides of the steel frame. 6 Locate the window channel where the window rolls up and down, and the rollers and tracks that allow movement of the window. 7 Lubricate the tracks by generously spraying them with the white lithium grease. 8 Roll the window up and down to distribute the grease evenly on the track. Repeat this a few times to work the grease into the tracks. 9 Replace the plastic insulator cover by pushing it back onto its glue bead. Reassemble and reattach the car door panel, the armrest and window control unit. Reconnect and reattach the electrical jack of the window control unit and place the plastic door handle panel back into position. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery terminal. Tips & Warnings Wipe the windows with clean rags if any grease is smeared on the glass. Before \lou Tackle Any Job It's wonderful to do things yourself. It costs you less, it gives you a sense of power to know that you did it on your own, and you know that the job's been done right. Nevertheless, to avoid getting in over my head, I always ask myself the following questions before undertaking any job: Do I really want to do this? Will it be fun — or horrendous? (I try never to do anything that doesn't feel good anymore (unless it's absolutely necessary). Do I know how to do it? If not, where do I go to learn? Does it require such expensive tools that it would cost less to have someone do it for me than to buy those tools? Can I borrow the tools I need? If I goof, can something be seriously damaged? Can I? How long will it take, and what is my time worth? How much money will I save by doing it myself? 102

If you find one that doesn't, don't hesitate to turn it over to a professional — after you read enough to know that the job is definitely necessary, what it entails, whether the work has been done properly, and how to get satisfaction if it isn't. With that in mind, let's get on to the very first thing you need to know in order to work on your vehicle. Safety. Rules The first time I tuned my car, I was sure that if I made the smallest mistake, the car would explode when I started it. This seems to be a common delusion, but it just isn't so. All you'll get is silence (which can be just as disconcerting, but not lethal after all). This isn't to say that working on cars is free from danger, though. Before you do any work on a vehicle, be sure to observe the following safety rules: Don't smoke while you're working on your car — for obvious reasons! * Never work on your car unless the parking brake is on, the gearshift is in Park or Neutral, and the engine is shut off. If you have to run the engine to adjust something, turn it on and off yourself to avoid the risk Chapter 1: Things Every Driver Should Know 11? that a friendly helper may misunderstand and turn the engine on while your hands are in the way. v* Be sure that the parts of the engine you're working on are nice and Scion .
